It takes courage to be confident. You have to be daring enough to say yes to the unknown, knowing that might “succeed” or “fail”. It’s the courage to step out of your comfort zone and feel the confidence. You cannot just sit in your safe zone and grow or expand. It takes one leap, a courageous one at that, to unlock so many worlds of unknown possibility. The truth of the matter is that courage is an innate part of being human, sometimes it is just hidden.
Try these 7 Ways to courageously adventure in life as a place to start, to get out of routine, try something new, and to see what’s possible. Flex that muscle of courage and try something different. Are you daring enough?
1. GET OUTSIDE
Yep, that easy. Do it everyday! Seriously even if it's just 15 minutes!
2. SAY YES
Say yes to one thing that you have never said yes to before. Go eat at that weird restaurant, go dancing, have a party, ask for what you want in bed, try out that fantasy.
3. GO SOMEWHERE NEW
Pick a place you have never been, within 20 miles from where you live, and GO there. See it. Smell it. Taste it. Explore it.
4. DO SOMETHING THAT SCARES YOU
Tell that guy/gal that you like them, eat an insect, go to a movie alone, go streaking (don’t get arrested!). Whatever it is, again, just do it!
5. START A CONVERSATION
Walk up to a random stranger and start a conversation. Or finally have that convo you have been scared to have with someone you know. Who knows where it will lead.
6. WAKE UP and DANCE
Pick a song and dance! Adventure big and dance in public, on the sidewalk, through the park, where ever.
7. GET CREATIVE
Make something. Paint, draw, build, mold, weave, dress up, write a poem.
